HomeQuest Prices & Fees
Why a home inspection gives you the most bang for your buck.
There are many rather large costs to a home buyer when purchasing a home. Some costs are not negotiable; such as the appraisal fees, real estate commissions, closing costs, mortgage interest, etc. Any home buyer will gain more knowledge about the purchase of their new home with our full home inspection; more than any other real estate transaction area/cost. This is no time to shop for a cheap inspection.
I'm sure you're wondering what the home inspection costs. First let me say my pricing is very competitive. Most home inspections are priced in the $300 to $350 price range. My inspection schedule often fills up quickly.
If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur. ~ Red Adair ~
Cost basically depends on four factors:
- Number of Bedrooms.
- What year was the House built.
- Number of Furnaces and/or Air Conditioners. These come in pairs.
- Crawlspace – Yes or No.
A Final Note on Paying for a Home Inspection
Based on all the added expenses that you might end up paying without a home inspection such as fixing a broken water heater, plumbing issues, and foundation problems, the minimal cost of $200-$600 is definitely worth it. Homebuyers are often stressed out about money and think that they can save a few dollars by skipping a home inspection. In reality, an inspection can be the best investment you make in your home and it can give you peace of mind when you finally decide to buy.
